Pipetronics management gets reinforcements
Markus Lämmerhirt is set to become an additional Managing Director for niche supplier for sewer rehabilitation robotics
+++ Rohrbach, 20/10/2017. Effective January 1, 2018, Markus Lämmerhirt will take over the position of Technical Managing Director of Pipetronics GmbH & Co. KG based in Rohrbach/Pfalz. Together with Christian Noll and Markus Brechwald, he will tackle the new challenges associated with additional expansion.
With Markus Lämmerhirt, the company is gaining an expert right at the top. He has many years of experience in sewer rehabilitation. Markus Lämmerhirt has been involved in the development, production and sale of sewer rehabilitation robots for more than 25 years, including 16 years as Managing Director and partner of Prokasro Mechatronik GmbH in Germany. His mission will focus on shaping the future expansion of Pipetronics together with the other Managing Directors.
"Expansion was so rapid during the first two years that we could hardly keep up with organizational requirements. Approximately 20,000 items are traded in various warehouse locations. A professional inventory management system was introduced to oversee the various locations. We are desperately looking for production and service employees at all locations. We are pleased that Markus Lämmerhirt will help us with our continued development," the Managing Directors Christian Noll and Markus Brechwald say. "The expansion of our production facilities, in particular Röthenbach, as well as the alterations at Dübendorf and Gütersloh, became a priority in 2017 and presented a serious challenge to our day-to-day running of the business. Overall, we now have almost 5,000 m2 of production and service space and have set up the conditions required for successful growth.”
Sales figures within the first two years speak for themselves: over 30 systems and a service and maintenance division running at full capacity. In addition to our well-established hydraulic milling robots, we continue to receive an increasing number of orders for our high-performance electric eCUTTER®. The eCUTTER® offers the same performance level as the hydraulic milling robots, but at 48 V offers a worldwide, one-of-a-kind low-voltage option.
In particular, there has been great demand for the eCUTTER® in combination with the well-established PI.TRON putty/grouting system. "Quickland" power generators, designed and manufactured by the brand itself, have become a bestseller. These offer high performance with lower noise levels and lower weight compared to conventional units, which offer enormous benefits to vehicle manufacturers. In-house vehicle interior design enables Pipetronics to respond individually to customer requirements. “By reducing the number of interfaces and concentrating know-how within the company, we can now customise vehicles much more individually.” This formed an important success factor during the first two financial years. Vehicle construction runs at full capacity throughout the year.
