Camera systems for trenchless sewer rehabilitation

The newly developed KKG301 and KKG302 camera systems with 360° pivoting head, a viewing angle of 82.5° or 96°, great depth of field, scratch-free sapphire glass and optimised windscreen wiper unit provide long-lasting clear visibility conditions thereby enabling trouble-free inspection, rehabilitation and follow-up inspections in the sewer. The cameras are flexibly replaceable modules and are compatible with KA-TE¹- and PMO¹ sewer robots.

The drive of the windscreen wiper system is technologically innovative. It does without any drill holes in the camera housing making sealing problems on the housing virtually impossible. With protection class IP67 the cameras are very well protected against water penetration and are operable on a long-term basis.

The lighting system of the camera is set up in a bi-functional manner. This enables three-dimensional, homogeneous light dispersion (both at close and far range) and is specifically aligned with the optics used by the camera. While poorly adapted lighting conditions can conceal important structures and information, the adjustable lighting of the Pipetronics' camera system enables detection of all important details in the sewer.
