Hydraulic milling robot PI.CUTTER –
high-performance and long-lasting

Overview

Hydraulic milling robots from Pipetronics are distinguished by high performance in continuous operation and a high degree of reliability under various ambient conditions. The most diverse rehabilitation tasks can be handled thanks to an extensive set of milling, grinding and brush attachments. Edges, persistent deposits, root invasion, sleeve displacement, sewer ruptures, cracks, damaged sockets, protruding connectors or steel parts can be milled and lain pipe liners can be opened with hydraulic milling robots from Pipetronics. Furthermore, completely closed sewers can be milled free from the front and steel anchors, reinforcement steel or other obstructions can be removed.

Description – Detail

The main work of the milling robots is preparatory work for the liner and opening the inflow after setting the liner. The most common diameters in main sewers of DN150 to DN800 as well as recognized oval profiles (E200/300 to E600/900) are covered by the hydraulic milling robots.

Low-maintenance hydraulic units

The powerful hydraulic drive prevents the milling tools from getting stuck in the sewer. The low-maintenance hydraulic units from Pipetronics are equipped with a variable pump that automatically regulates the oil quantity after acceptance. In addition, the flow, return flow and leakage oil is filtered. Due to a lower operating temperature the hydraulic oil can be used considerably longer, thanks to the arrangement and reduced number of valves and structures of the hydraulic unit. Furthermore, the level monitoring of the stainless steel tank automatically shuts the device off in the event of oil loss.

Available as an individual solution or multi-function solution

The hydraulic milling robot from Pipetronics can be acquired as a single-solution - in other words, reduced purely to milling functions - or as a multi-function solution. The multi-function solution adds the PI.TRON filling & grouting system to the milling robot and offers extensive accessories for flexible and quick work in sewers:

  • Wheels and wheel widening for various diameters and bases
  • Milling tools
  • Milling shaft extensions, filling tools etc.
  • The most common replacement parts to perform simple repairs at the construction site
  • Epoxy resin from various manufacturers

Milling robots that were purchased as single solutions can be retroactively upgraded into a multi-function solution with the PI.TRON filling & grouting system.
